Late last month, the Hult Center opened the Still Home Talent Show, which asked for submissions in five categories: Original Song or Instrumental, Holiday Dance/Movement/Choreography, Holiday Card, Classic Reinterpretation, and Holiday Pets. The entries were judged (we were thrilled to be part of the judging process!) and the finalists were decided, announced last week.
Ava and Angie Renich were finalists in the Original Song or Instrumental category, with their song “I’ll be with you this Christmas.” The song is emotional and moving, representing how we all feel this holiday season. For their win, they got an interview with us. Our editor, Julie, sat down with them to learn more about the mother-daughter duo and the inspiration for their song. Watch the interview below.
