Riverside Chamber Symphony Concert
| Join the Riverside Chamber Symphony on Thursday, March 27, at 7:30pm at the Wildish Theater in Springfield for an evening of beautiful, live music. Volunteer Gardening at Owen Rose Garden
| Share your passion for roses and gain hands on experience in year-round care of perennial shrubs! Meet by the garage door of the shop at the garden wearing weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. No experience necessary. Depending on the season, help weed, prune and deadhead a variety of roses on Fridays to keep Eugene’s iconic botanical garden looking beautiful. On Wednesdays, help plant their collection of Heritage Roses, along with weeding, mulching, and pruning. Often these rare kind of roses are more disease resistant, have stronger scents and longer blooms than modern rose varieties. Wednesdays and Fridays, 9am – noon. Selected Paintings from the Estate of Mark Clarke 
| Karin Clarke Gallery’s new exhibit, Selected Paintings from the Estate of Mark Clarke, draws attention to his wide artistic range by showcasing three different categories of works: a splendid selection of the Oregon landscapes for which he became so well-known, several figurative pieces such as faces and farmers market scenes, and a series of abstract, experimental pieces highlighting his gift for composition. Spring Whale Watching 
| It’s Whale Watch Week along the Oregon Coast! In spring approximately 20,000 gray whales travel north to the cold waters of Alaska. Late March through June is the peak of the spring whale migration past Oregon. Spot gray whales and partake in whale watch counts along the Oregon Coast. Talk to knowledgeable volunteers at the Yachats State Recreation Area, Cape Perpetua and Heceta Head Lighthouse all week long from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Whales are an awesome sight to behold. Spring Whale Watch Week is part of the “Whale Watching Spoken Here” by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. 10-4pm, stateparks.oregon.gov

9th Annual March Madness IPA Blind Taste-Off Bracket Challenge 
| Each year, the teams at beergarden and PublicHouse duke it out to see who drafted the best IPA. This year’s event will feature 2 categories of IPAs: West Coast and Hazy. The Beer Teams choose the beers. Your vote decides the favorite. The 3 week event features 2 blind flights of four, 1 flight at beergarden and 1 at PublicHouse, comprising the Sweet 8 IPAs. Each flight will have 2 West Coast styles and 2 Hazy styles. You’ll have two weeks to taste both flights and cast your vote for the tastiest brews in a blind taste off from March 18th- March 30th. Kitchen Table Talk at Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art 
| Presented as part of artist Steve Prince’s multi-visit residency with his partner and collaborator Leah Glenn, Kitchen Table Talk presents a selection of drawings, prints, and installation that reflect on the conversations that occur around the kitchen table. Steve Prince is a New Orleans-born mixed-media artist currently based in Williamsburg, Virginia. Equal parts artist and educator, his practice is defined by a deep commitment to art’s ability to engage, build, and connect with communities, while also engaging themes of social justice, reconciliation, and healing. 5 for adults; $3 for seniors; free for 18 and under, UO students, UO faculty/staff.
