Crux Rock Gym

Your climbing itch can still be scratched even if the weather isn’t amenable at Crux Rock Gym. A locally owned indoor climbing gym open to all no matter your skill level and abilities, Crux offers rock climbing lessons for youth and adults, summer camps, a fitness center, personal training, and even outdoor climbing. They have auto belays for climbers without a partner, a unique bouldering cave, an overhead beam route for adventurous lead climbers, and changing rooms and shower facilities.

ALTAIR Ski and Sports Club

ALTAIR is a sports and social club that is open to anyone interested in any of their wide variety of sports and social activities. They have year-round outdoor and indoor offerings, including hiking, biking, golf, skiing, camping, movies, volleyball, card games, dance lessons, dinner parties, and much more. They host a monthly membership meeting that includes signups for events, orientation for new members, and guest speakers. This summer, they will be hosting these meetings at Alton Baker Park.

Eugene Symphony Guild

The Eugene Symphony Guild proudly announces their 24th annual music in the Garden. Sunday June 12, 10am-4pm. We are thrilled, having received national recognition from the League of American Orchestras for our virtual music in the garden in 2021, to return to our in person self-guided tour of 5 beautiful gardens with 6 hours of live music in each garden. These wonderful gardens are in the Washburne Historic District of Springfield, all within walking distance of each other. The tour includes a large plant sale, drawings for the three amazing baskets full of gifts and gift certificates, vendors with jewelry and yard art, and coffee & cookies. And for the first time there will be a master gardener in each garden to answer your questions. Tickets: $18 in advance, $20 the day at the events, and $5 for 10 years and under. All proceeds benefit the Eugene Symphony.
