Chuck Redd Salutes Bill Evans

First Friday Art Walk

This month’s First Friday ArtWalk (hosted by Debbie Williamson-Smith, Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art communications manager and director of communications for the 20×21 EUG Mural Project) starts with the “ZONE 4 ALL” exhibit at the New Zone Gallery. Follow it then to “Downtown Happenings,” a series of events around downtown; to “Behind the Curtain: The Art of Costume Design” at Sparrow Studios; Allies, LLC; and to see works by Robert Dandarov and Benjamin Terrell May at Epic Seconds.

The Oregon Landscape

Karin Clarke Gallery is opening their spring invitational group show with an artist’s reception on Friday. The exhibit, called “The Oregon Landscape,” will feature works from 12 artists that show the many vibrant and diverse sides of Oregon in a variety of mediums. The works will be on display until April 25.

Dragon and the Night Queen

Ballet Fantastique is premiering their new all-original, full-length ballet, Dragon and the Night Queen, this Friday. The performance will feature live music from the Gerry Rempel Ensemble and guest musician Eliot Grasso, choreography from Donna and Hannah Bontrager, and music direction from Gerry Rempel and John Polese, as well as a stunning cast of dancers.

The Spongebob Musical

Everyone’s favorite pineapple-under-the-sea dweller is coming to Eugene, bringing his friends and foes in The Spongebob Musical. With original songs by well-known and award-winning musicians, the musical celebrates friendship, cooperation, unity, and inclusion.

Hoodoo Skibike Festival

Whiskey Week and Barrel-aged Beer Blind Taste-Off
