There’s lots to enjoy during the final weeks of summer heat in Eugene. The Oregon Ducks kicked off the football season with a home game against Eastern Washington. You can celebrate the upcoming fall season with a chili cook-off at the Veneta Harvest Festival. You can enjoy live, a farmers market, and more at this family-friendly event. Head over to Downtown Springfield for the Second Friday Art Walk and enjoy a self-guided tour of new local artwork. Find rare collectibles and heirlooms at the 2022 Coburg Antique & Vintage Fair.

Springfield Block Party | Come down to Main Street and celebrate downtown Springfield and all the wonderful things you can do here with family and friends. In partnership with local businesses, the Springfield Block Party is robust and filled with a little something for everyone. Springfield is excited about the future of their downtown. The party will have good food, fun family games, a stage with musical entertainment, and more.

Emerald Print Exchange Opening Reception | Maude Kerns Art Center will hosting the opening reception for the annual Emerald Print Exchange, which sees submissions of printed art works from all over the world. The print exchange is an exciting opportunity for printmakers to exchange their creative works, and has the added bonus of bringing positive attention to Eugene as a city invested in the arts.

Shedd Theatricals: The Pajama Game | The Pajama Game, is a Tony award winning classic musical, and you can see it here in Eugene. The comedy depicts the workers of the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory and their strike for better pay.

The Saturday Market | The Saturday Market is a weekly celebration of local arts and food. Over 250 artisans sell handcrafted goods – this is the perfect place to shop for unique gifts. The Saturday Market is the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the U.S.

UO Football vs Eastern Washington UniversityThe University of Oregon Ducks take on the Eastern Washington University Eagles in a conference game at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.

Saturday in the Park | Come to the Amazon Community Center for a Saturday full of food and fun. This free event will include food and drink from local vendors, including Red Five Hot Dogs and Just Ice Shaved Ice. Free bike washes will also be provided by Shift Community Cycles. There will also be a course for kids on helpful and safe bike skills, a summer showcase from Danceability, Eugene Bhangra, and Thrill the World Eugene, and more fun activities that will get you moving and entertained.

Terry Robb at Axe & Fiddle
Terry Robb is an acclaimed acoustic blues guitarist, singer, composer, and producer. His work has been in popular television shows and films including Game of Thrones and The Horse Whisperer. He will play live at The Axe & Fiddle Public House in Cottage Grove.

| The award winning musical “Hamilton” by Lin-Manuel Miranda will take the stage at Silva Concert Hall in the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. It tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton with a musical score combining hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway sounds.

The Edge of the Ocean
Karin Clarke Gallery’s newest exhibit is a celebration of the Oregon coast. The exhibit will present coastal works from three of this area’s greatest artists: Mark Clarke, Nelson Sandgren, and Craig Spilman.

Spencer Creek Growers Market
The Spencer Creek Community Growers Market celebrates its 13th year. Find fresh produce, baked goods, organic coffee, at this Saturday market. The market includes music performances from local bands, and admission is free to the public.

Natural Athletes at Museum of Natural History
