It’s Father’s Day weekend with many special events honoring the men in your life, from special putting events at Camp Putt to music, to concerts and events at local wineries. It’s also Juneteenth, which is a chance to celebrate Black heritage and deepen your understanding of the Black experience. A gripping new drama about truth and identity revolves around a young woman named Grey Rhodes. She was raised by her Uncle Ty ever since she was a baby when her single mother was run over by a semi-truck — or so she has been told. This intriguing drama will cause you to question the “little white lies” we tell to protect those we love. This play is not recommended for children due to the crimes discussed.

Make a Relief Kit for World Refugee Day
Make a difference to refugees waiting in camps and cities around the world! Donate $25 toward the cost of supplies and put together a relief kit containing personal hygiene items for a family. Kits are sent to where refugees need them, all over the world. You can bring help and hope to a refugee family!

The Emerald Empire Vintage Auto Club’s annual Vintage Car Show is coming back to Valley River Center this Father’s Day weekend! Blooms & Butterflies 15th Annual Fundraiser – 5K run and free lunch
The festivities start with hatha yoga at 8:30 and the scenic 5K Butterfly Run / Walk along the river from 9 to 11 am. Dress up like a butterfly and enter the costume contest by 11:30 pm. Kids 18 and under can enjoy a free lunch from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Tomaselli’s onsite Pizza Wagon or hotdogs in the Outpost Cafe. Adults can also purchase a meal at the event to support the event lunch fundraiser. The Outpost Cafe will be open from 9 am – 5 pm for baked goods, coffee drinks, and smoothies.”
