The holiday season is in full swing! With parades, light celebrations, chances to visit Santa, and the opening of a few holiday/winter productions, there is no shortage of ways to celebrate the season.

Sprout Children’s Business Expo

Support young entrepreneurs at the Sprout! Children’s Business Expo. Each booth will sell items made by local children as they learn what it takes to start their own business.

First Friday ArtWalk

Hosted by Andrew Bisantz, artistic director and conductor of the Eugene Opera, this month’s ArtWalk will start at the Lincoln Gallery with “Limitless.” Follow the guided tour to Raven Frame Works for a performance by Eugene Opera and a collection of zines by Terry Way, then to new store Raven and Rose Boutique, to Eugene Mindworks for the Sprout Children’s Business Expo, and to Framin’ Artworks to see paintings by Milla Oliveira and jewelry by Wendy Hoffman.

Oregon Coast Aquarium Sea of Light Celebration

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is kicking off their annual Sea of Lights Celebration this weekend. Join them for lights, gingerbread houses, and Santa during extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Bring in canned food (or pet food) donations for a discount.

Junction City Parade of Lights

Downtown Junction City will be illuminated at the annual holiday parade of lights. Different entries, all draped in lights, will follow this year’s theme: “Christmas at our House.” Can’t make it to Junction City on Friday? The parade will also be in Harrisburg and Monroe on Saturday, and Coburg on Sunday.

Oliver Twist is adventuring through Victorian London and coming to the Cottage Theatre stage starting this Friday. Sing along to the classic songs and consider yourself a friend.

She Loves Me

She Loves Meis opening at the Shedd this Friday, running through December 22 and telling the charming musical story of two pen pals. Set in a perfumery in Budapest in the 1930s, the story follows Amalia Balash and Georg Nowack who bicker at work but are both pursuing unknown love interests.

20th Annual Authors and Artists Fair

The Lane Library League is hosting their annual Authors and Artists Fair this Saturday. Meet local authors and artists and buy their wares, with a portion of all sales benefitting the League’s programs. Check out their website for a full list of authors and artists in attendance.

Winter Wine Walk

Follow the Eugene Urban Wine Circuit at the Winter Wine Walk. Heceta Head Lighthouse Victorian Christmas Open House

The Heceta Head Lighthouse is celebrating the holiday season with their annual Victorian Christmas Open House. See the keeper’s house in all its decorated glory while enjoying live music, night walks to the lighthouse, and a visit with Santa. Join them this weekend and next for the festivities.
