Cornbread Café

Cornbread Café is a 100 percent vegan comfort food diner with a focus on organic and local ingredients. It is a family friendly environment complete with board games and a vintage Ms. Pacman game. Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives recommends the Eugenewich and Grandma Sweetie Pie's Frozen Peanut Butter Pie. One of Cornbread’s signature dishes is Chik’n Fried Tempeh & Country Cashew Gravy—add Mac unCheese and Uncle Todd’s Greens or Collards to that for a stick-to-your-ribs meal that even non-vegetarians rave about. All of their supper plates come with cornbread or a biscuit. Try the Omelet and Chik’n & Waffle, or Cheesy Grits at breakfast 7 days a week! Mind-blowing desserts, including Lemon Meringue Pie and Mississippi Mud Pie, and special orders for whole cakes, pies, and cupcakes are welcome (with 48 hour advance notice). Look for exciting new additions to their menu—Neatloaf and Collard Greens, The Polk Street Pile Up Sandwich, the Bacon Ranch Burger, and the Sriracha Jalapeño Burger. In addition to the weekday hours (M-F 8am-9pm) breakfast hours are now available on weekends - Sat 9am to 9pm and Sun 9am to 3pm.
